I got robbed. :( Some dirty leftist hippies snuck into by back door and took about $7,000 in electronics and cash while I and (fortunately) my wife were out. How do I know they were "dirty leftist hippies", you ask? Because while they stopped to swipe a 5-year old XBox, they passed on fairly expensive watches, jewelry, financial statements and check books sitting in plain view. They also broke a high definition projector by ripping it from its mount instead of gently unscrewing it. Only dirty, leftist hippies could be that stupid.

I feel your pain...I got robbed several years back when I lived in the city. At the time, I thought it was kids because they walked by some high dollar stuff to take a few not so valuable things. They also took a 1/3 full 5 gallon glass jar of pennies, which to me wouldn't offer a large enough return for the effort required to take it. We called the cops, who seemed indifferent to our plight. It did freak my wife out, which I think hastened our move to the country side.

Although to me it might be worth much more. You see, I have replacement insurance which means that the insurance company has to replace the stolen item with a new "comparable" item. Do they still sell the old XBox new? If not, I might be able to get a brand new XBox 360.

Yeah. Fortunately. Basically I'm out the $500 deductible but should be compensated in all new electronics. It's actually not that bad a deal when all is said and done. Insurance turns out to be a good thing every once in a while.

Sorry to hear that. Same thing happened to a friend just this week, and CP's Lauren was robbed at gun point as well.
I do not believe they are right who say that the defects of famous men should be ignored. I think it is better that we should know them.
