Well, technically they're all a few days apart. But since grandma lives several hours away, we just celebrate them at the same time.

Friday today. What are your weekend plans? Most of Chennai-based CPians might not be having this Saturday free as we had a state-government imposed holiday on monday and we have a statutory compensating working day tomorrow. This weekend is kind of short weekend on Sunday and hence even to catch up with friends, a bit of shopping and catch some fast good sleep. :) Shopping catches an important place these months because of festive season from October through December like (Dussehra in October, Diwali in November, Christmas in December). :)

Tonight I am hosting a gaming night. My neighbor wants to play Axis and Allies I've never played so it could be fun. Tomorrow, I am going to the Oklahoma vs Texas collage football game at the Fair. Finally, on Sunday we are all going hiking. It's a pretty busy weekend but I deserve a break from the daily stuff since my wife has been in China and Thailand for the last two weeks leaving me to babysit.

Trying to sort out this terrible cold i have ... need to get a good night sleep me thinks. Mostly what i'll be doing tonight and saturday i guess. Sunday i got a nice long cycle journey ahead of me about 60km. And in the evening a friend of mine asked me to come over for his birthday. And then it is monday already ... starting a new week ... Somebody needs to find a medicine which can keep you awake longer (no not coffee ... doesn't work anymore  ) i need my precious time without having to get around 8 hours of sleep.

My girl has a swim trial tonight and I'll try and go climbing on Sat Morning her. A walk with my boy sometime and lunch. Might go sking (indoor snow) as well. I might try and do some work on a reporting services talk I have in Nov.

Saturday morning I'm going to run the Germantown Country Classic 17K[^]. It's hilly but fun. This year's should be really nice, as the weather will be about perfect, 60°F and sunny at the start . The rest of the weekend, I'll probably spend loafing away the remainder of my vacation, then back to the grind on Monday :sigh:.

Funeral tomorrow. A friends wife recently died of cancer. She was only 42. :( Take my daughter to a kid's party on Sunday. :)

That's uncanny. One of our office guy's sister just died of cancer. She's in her 40s. You don't happen to live in Albuquerque, do you?

Please don't bother me... I'm hacking right now. Don't look at me like that - doesn't anybody remember what "hacking" really means? :sigh:
