Unless of course Samantha is really YOU! Then you could be sure we've been had. That's just sick, dude... Why not throw away a dime? I throw away ten pennies all the time.

You're so full of shit, that your eyes are brown. I didn't "ruin" anything. I merely highlighted the absurdity of asking for help where your ineffectual love life is concerned. If I were you, I'd bone up on my reading comprehension skills. I could quiet easily create a thread talking about a pretend boyfriend dumping a women. If you've spent enough time around "real" women you'll know how the talk and how they'll react. I'm a student of psychology, it would be an interested experiment to find out how many people could be fooled into thinking they were talking to a woman. I prefer to see myself as a realist, rather than a pessimist. :-D The only problem I have with the kind of posts that John refers to, is whether or not asking these kind of personal questions on a programming web-site is the best place. I'm sure there about better places on the web where people are more likely to be trained to deal with the problems. Generally, I don't visit as often as I used to. Yesterday was the first time in a week, and before that, two weeks went by. I'm pretty much fed up with the crap posts in the lounge ("Samantha"'s was the latest). I mean honestly, who here gives a rat's ass about reading about other people's problems (that aren't related to computers)? The love problem posts of both girls and guys are drivel and show real shallowness of character. for example.. Members posting Code problems in the lounge. Members posting football score headers. Members posting plaguarized anecdotes and jokes. Anons posting code problems that a simple search at CP would solve. Anons acting upset when nobody answers there question in 5 minutes. Being emailed unsolicited code questions by anons and members. I think some philisophical, cosmic, scientific, ethical, current affairs, original ideas and creativiity is OK as well to be blunt John. Sure maybe more topice to add, but this isn't the place to discuss romance or sexual disfunctions. Regardz Colin J Davies

Everyone is welcome on CP, but we've seen a lot of psychos that were guys pretending to be girls in the lounge also. In John's defense, it's getting old to see this. Until it's been established that your a bona fide chick, it's tough to tell if you're a wacko or not from our standpoint. The emotionally screwed-up nuts that started this "e-transvitation" crap are to blame. Sorry it turned out like this for you, but the questioning your chickness will fade soon. As you'll soon find out, John is a good person. He has rough edges, but we all do. In the meantime be all the chick you can you can be, and I'm sure you'll be popular on CP. Jeremy L.
