Maybe they´re disliking the way things are heading (we´re reaching a point where people would start to post messages with just a (void*) inside just to increase their post count). I prefer to see myself as a realist, rather than a pessimist. :-D The only problem I have with the kind of posts that John refers to, is whether or not asking these kind of personal questions on a programming web-site is the best place. I'm sure there about better places on the web where people are more likely to be trained to deal with the problems. I always thought that's what the lounge was for. Non-programming related discussions. Why not throw away a dime? I throw away ten pennies all the time.

The fact that she spent an entire thread talking about how her boyfriend left her for another woman is a pretty good clue though. ;P You seem to have quite a hangup with men pretending to be women. Can't you just take a person's word for it? Have you had bad experiences with internet cross-dressers in the past? Why not throw away a dime? I throw away ten pennies all the time.

Until it's been established that your a bona fide chick, it's tough to tell if you're a wacko or not from our standpoint. The emotionally screwed-up nuts that started this "e-transvitation" crap are to blame. Sorry it turned out like this for you, but the questioning your chickness will fade soon. As you'll soon find out, John is a good person. He has rough edges, but we all do. In the meantime be all the chick you can you can be, and I'm sure you'll be popular on CP. Jeremy L. Did you noticed that? The answer is NO, because guys with names that is obviously male were easily accepted here, while if the name sounds like a girl...gets insulted and teased by some of the guys here which is inapppropriate.. we doesn't deserved that kind of treatment.. Girls who want to be a part of CP gets intimidated by some of the guys here.. Well, I guess that's the reason why there's a small portion of female here in CP.. it's a really a male denomination site... I don't know why some of the guys here feel Superior about themselves... If somebody doesn't like the post, then just ignored it.. or make your own thread, respect others work.. Is it hard to do? Is it really a big deal if a "real" girl or guy or gay posts the message? NO, What matter is how he/she/it shared his/her/its point of view.. I can't see any restrictions or rules that shouldn't be a topic... As far as I know, explicit words, foul language, ranting and raving should be banned in CP... because we're all professionals here, we should speak in a professional manner... It would be a good gag, but I'm most certainly not interested enough to even consider pulling off such a stunt.
