Never thought of that. I presume it's a strong possibility :-)

The fact that she spent an entire thread talking about how her boyfriend left her for another woman is a pretty good clue though. ;P You seem to have quite a hangup with men pretending to be women. Can't you just take a person's word for it? Have you had bad experiences with internet cross-dressers in the past? Why not throw away a dime? I throw away ten pennies all the time.

Further, witty reparté does not consist of two- or three-word rebuttals that you last heard in grade school, so reading her discussions/arguments probably won't even be worth my valuable time. The answer is NO, because guys with names that is obviously male were easily accepted here, while if the name sounds like a girl...gets insulted and teased by some of the guys here which is inapppropriate.. You're absoluetely clueless. We had a number of people post messages pretending to be a female. You're apparently another one. You weren't insulted for being a female (if you are indeed one). You were insulted because of the message you posted. As I stated earlier, your reading comprehensions skills lack sufficient development to distinguish the difference. Besides that, everyone gets insulted and teased here. Get used to it - it's a public forum. we doesn't deserved that kind of treatment.. But you asked for it. Girls who want to be a part of CP gets intimidated by some of the guys here.. Well, I guess that's the reason why there's a small portion of female here in CP.. No, the reason there's such a small percentage of females here is that it reflects the general demographics of the programming trade. See? You're clueless and think you deserve better treatment than other people. it's a really a male denomination site... No, "dominated" is the word you're looking for, and that's a fact. But it's not because it's a great big boy's club - we didn't come here because there weren't any/many chicks. We came here because we can get our programming questions answered and get free code. Chris provides the lounge and the soapbox for discussions like this that do not pertiain to programming. I don't know why some of the guys here feel Superior about themselves... We don't feel "superior". I don't know where that came from. If somebody doesn't like the post, then just ignored it.. Oh yeah, like THAT'S gonna happen. or make your own thread, respect others work.. Your post had NOTHING TO DO WITH "WORK". Is it really a big deal if a "real" girl or guy or gay posts the message? NO, What matter is how he/she/it shared his/her/its point of view.. I can't see any restrictions or rules that shouldn't be a topic... Yes it is a big deal if someone claims they're something that they are not. Life's a bitch, and it ain't fair, but you gotta learn to live within the rules and expectations of the society in which you participate. Besides that, how can anyone trust you if they can't be sure that you're not being truthful about your own identity? A

And I wouldn't want to disappoint my countless fans. I must add, however, that I would honor any request from Chris M. to tone it down, but only in the interest of making it easy for the generally witless to understand. This means that I would have to degrade my literary contributions to simple concepts, and short sentences. If guys want to pant like dogs after every user who puts up a girl's name and posts a pretty picture than be my guest. Do so at your own risk. If you treat people with respect and not as objects then there shouldn't be a problem. But I don't think every female name that appears should be mocked, insulted and called a liar. Whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty? Oh well. You can lead a kid to knowledge but you can't make them think. Why not throw away a dime? I throw away ten pennies all the time.

I have *sharp* edges. He/she/it won't be popular with me for a long time because the very first post I saw from he/she/it was crap post. Further, witty reparté does not consist of two- or three-word rebuttals that you last heard in grade school, so reading her discussions/arguments probably won't even be worth my valuable time. Lastly, I don't feel the need to validate my attitude or existance to anyone (however, thanks for your support) - I'm a programmer, not a fuckin politician. I will continue to slice through the lounge, leaving gaping wounds in the absurd and pointless posts I find there. <>What about girls or gays pretending to be guys. Did you noticed that? A
