Shangri-La[club] appealed, arguing that the board erred when it found Hobson[stripper] more credible than its witnesses. Now that is professionalism. BTW, charging up my new Logitech MX Revolution[^] wireless mouse.

I've been so busy today, I haven't had a chance to check the lounge. Thankfully Im using my last five minutes to catch up. She is providing an very important service to her community, and I'm sure those injuries would of prevented her from making her tuition payment(all strippers are working their way through college, regardless of age :laugh:). Worker's Comp, however, is just crazy! Is there a stripper union? These girls work for tips, and at most places they have to "rent" the stage. I guess it's just the same line of reasoning as "my coffee was too hot and I spilled it on myself, McDonald's owes me money." Thanks for the link and the shout out, I'm off to my couch for some much needed xBox 360 and hopefully a visit from a lovely young lady who made the terrible mistake of giving me her number.

If she works there, no matter what her job is, they have to provide a safe working environment. If they haven't done that then they have to pay up. Workers Comp is a standard cover all business need to have, if the strip club didn't have it then that's their bad luck. My employer has Workers Comp and I mostly sit in front of a computer and make trips on to client sites for installations and the like. Not likely to hurt myself doing this line of work but it could happen and I need to be covered. If not do I then sue the owners of the company for any injuries I suffer due to work or even just at work?

No. Coffee is a fucking hot beverage generally made with boiling water 100/212 degrees depending on your scale of choice. Said stupid old biddy spilled it on herself and using some wonderful USA logic a jury found McDonalds guilty cause the coffee was too hot. I think it had something to do with the atmosphere in that particular restaurant being about 3 times normal allowing ther coffee to be hotter than normal. ;) Pole dancing, no matter what you think of the people doing it, is a physical job that the strip club owners need people to do to get customers in the door. She gets hurt, they pay, part of running a business in the first place.
