Well, we went down to Galveston over the weekend. We left as soon as I got off work at 5pm and we were there by 9pm. Houston traffic on a Friday night sucked. Although, the traffic was moving on a average speed of 80mph, it was bumper to bumper. Saturday morning after eating breakfast, we took the kids walking on the beach. Now this is where the kids got funny. They would walk ankle deep and then half-way to their knees deep and then finally they accidentally 'fell' into the water. Its hard to get onto a kid for having to much fun. We weren't planning on letting them play in the water at that time, but after they became soaked there was nothing else to do. Unfortunately, we were unprepared and they all got sunburned. My wife is red on one side and not red on the other. The best part of the day was the sunset ferry ride that we took. The kids loved watching the dolphins swim and the seagulls fly right by them. Sunday, we went to Johnson Space Center. That was a blast.;) The kids loved the huge play area called the Matrix. No one over 56in. was supposed to be able to play in it but that didn't stop me. I had a lot of fun chasing my kids around in it. On the trip we got the visit Mission Control Room 'White'. We went and ate supper at Red Lobster and the boy (Ethan he's 3) passed out in the booth:zzz:. He was sleeping so hard he started to snore. By the time we got done, I was ready for a power nap. We headed home and got in at midnight and got up at 6am to head to work. I believe I will sleep good during lunch.:)

    God Bless, Jason
I am not perfect but I try to be better than those before me. So those who come after me will be better than I am.

Jason, Glad to hear you had a great weekend. I agree that its hard to deny your kids when they are having that much fun. Many times, the most fun you can have is when it is spontaneous. I spent my weekend in a Motorcycle training course, so I didn't see much of my kids. Hogan
