Even if you refuse to believe in evolution, the Chicken is a domesticated[^] breed - it was a product of selective breeding[^] by humans hundreds of thousands of years ago. They'd have started with a wild bird[^], and selectively bred the offspring that had the best traits (birds that are more docile, lay more eggs, mature faster, put on more weight, etc.)

No it hasn't - it's been causing a problem to people who don't understand science, that's all.

Your 1st thread was a decent enough question and provoked some decent conversation. Reposting this was just a waste of time.

He's probably used to the programming forums where the normal process is to re-post the same question a dozen times, even when somebody's given you a good answer, simply because you don't believe the answer was simple enough, or couldn't be bothered to put two and two together and actually fill in the missing steps to make it work in your own code. :sigh:

Ultimately, sea creatures. So - all chickens are fish. Seriously though - your point was answered. If you didn't understand the answer, then that's your problem and not ours. Evolution means that the chicken could not have come before the egg because the egg laying ancestors of chickens were around millions of years before chickens were. Simple enough. Please though - don't start new threads off like this.

Definitely the troll. Forums are new, but idiots are forever.

Trolls are originally from usenet which predates the web.
