I've never found a todo list/reminder/assistant program that I'm comfortable with so when I have to remember something I send myself an email - strange but true. Does anyone else do this or can anyone recommend a suitable piece of software to help me get organised...

    Apathy Rules - I suppose...

A few hours? I don't use Outlook or Exchange anymore but I don't remember the sync being that slow. I use GMail and Google Calendar now which sync to iCal and Mail on my laptop. Happens in minutes if not seconds.

I was referring to the time it takes to get my mobile device between the two systems (home and work) as it is the syncronization vehicle. :)    Peace!

It happens a lot where my Foobar just disappears. How do I get it back. It's still running in task manager so for the time being I 'End Task' and restart it not knowing what else to do... But... Foobar is totally AWESOME it and CLCL are the first programs I load on my box.

Do you mean it autohides, runs in the system tray, something else? My guess it's running in the system tray, but Windows (in its infinite wisdom) hides the icon because it's "seldom used". X| /ravi

I think it's Windows that's hiding the icon. You can configure FooBar to run on the desktop - select AutoHide to conserve screen realestate. I dock FooBar at the upper-R corner and enable AutoHide. /ravi

"He who joyfully marches to music in rank and file has already earned my contempt. He has been given a large brain by mistake, since for him, the spinal cord would fully suffice. This disgrace to civilization should be done away with at once. Heroism at command, senseless brutality, deplorable love-of-country stance, how violently I hate all this, how despicable an ignoble war is; I would rather be torn to shreds than be a part of so base an action! how about a todolist that sends you the email? haven't tried it, but the radio was discussing it on the way to work. http://www.rememberthemilk.com/[^]
