These days even a new internet user, who start using chatting software for the first time, knows very well that if he/she chat with an unknown person, then that person can be fake or a fraud. No one knows this more than people of USA where the information technology revolution originates. But this news tells a complete different story [New Window] Imran Farooqui

IMO, on-line relationships are a joke. Anyone dumb enough to fly around the world for someone he she hasn't met is obviously desperate. And, anyone lying about his wife and kids on-line to some desperate chick deserves his wife and kids leaving him. It's people that like that, that give us good Internet-dwelling psychos a bad name. :) Jeremy L. Falcon Homepage : Sonork = 100.16311

It's not meeting them online that’s a joke. It's having a "relationship" online. The story said that she fell in love with someone before she met him. Hey, if you meet a great woman online that's awesome, but when you keep thing just on the Internet, well that looses me. Jeremy L. Falcon Homepage : Sonork = 100.16311

I sent her my letterman jacket, pictures, oh the whole nine yards. She turned out to be one of those liars about who she was. Granted, not everyone's crazy and my bad experience doesn't mean someone can't have a good one. I just don't think much of a relationship where you don't actually meet a person. how long is an acceptable time before the relationship has to become reality-based? (i hope it's more than a few months...) :) -c

4 months, 12 days, 6 hours, 38 mins, and 19.27 seconds :) Honestly, I haven't a clue. I'd just like to think that if I met someone online, they actually want to meet at some point in time - that is, if they actually expect me to consider it a relationship. Jeremy L.
