I'm tired, I read your "TWO" as two donuts ... ha! *sigh* What constitutes "use" of the knife? A single 'cut'? In other words, if I cut through one side of the donut, but hit the hole in the middle, do I now have to throw out that knife?

Eye the crappy knives suspiciously, then use your hands to break the donut into six pieces and hand one to each of the children (children is plural - no need for s). If any of the kids complain that the pieces are unequal, snatch their portion and eat it quickly. Then ask the child to explain this lesson to the others...

Stab two children, bang two others' heads together, and share a donut with your favorite one.

Are these proper jam donuts, or rubbishy American ones that taste like pap and have a hole in the middle?

Cut the donut in half. You get 2 C shaped pieces. Place them on top of each other and make another cut top-down on the C shape to divide each shape into 3. There you go. 6 pieces

It actually depends upon the amount of sun that the donut tree receives while the donut is blooming. BTW have you ever been to a donut harvest festival? ;)

eat the donut and divide the donut hole equally to all the children. Donut holes can be divided infinitely while maintaining identical volume, therefore all children will have identical donut holes. prove it to them with math. I wonder if this is why all my step-children hated math.... hmmmm....

Ok, fold the donut in half, and then half again, and then again so that's in 3'rds, kind of "cone" shaped at this point, I believe. Using one knife, cut off one side Using the other knife, cut off the other side When you're done, I think you'll have 6 pieces after that ... Damn, I need a donut to test this out on ...

I think I got it :) You use the 1st knife to cut the donut in a 'spiral' fashion, then use the 2nd to split the 'long spiral' donut :) In fact this should work for any number, except the knife might get blunt and the donut will have to big rather big too :)

It actually depends upon the amount of sun that the donut tree receives while the donut is blooming. BTW have you ever been to a donut harvest festival? ;)

That reminds me of the spaghetti tree[^] hoax. That reminds me that there is actually a spaghetti squash[^]. We used to grow them when I was little.
