I keep getting this message from a mailing list I'm subscribed to: 5.1.0 - Unknown address error 550-'Go away. Your attack is futile.' Does this mean anything beyond the apparent that it's receiving mails from my address, which is no longer known since last night?

It might mean your system has been taken over and is being used to support a DDOS attack.

That's what I meant. However, my system isn't uncharacteristically slow, and I am running anti-virus. The only problem is it will take a looong time to scan now, and that does make it slow. How else could I diagnose this?

Run Wire Shark[^] and see if anything looks suspect?

LOL :) Look at processes making SMTP and HTTP connections that you dont recognize. If so, you might be dealing with a bug :)
