Does anyone know a good (free) port scanner utility? I need it to see all the ports used by an application which integrates multiple web service clients, because some of the people using it are getting blocked by their firewalls and they need to manually unblock the necessary ports. Thanks.

You can try Process XP[^] if you need to see what ports are used by an application or service.

====================================== SELECT * FROM users WHERE clue >0 0 rows returned

Port scanners are for remote PC's not the local one :p

ethereal is a packet sniffer rather than a port scanner isn't it? EDIT: And due to legal reasons they have now also changed the name to WireShark[^].

Indeed - but for the use the OP intends to put it it should do the trick.

Of course TCP view. Shows all connections, TCP as well as UDP. You close the connection also from it. I thought CyberPunk  could have done better.
