Oh lordy, there are hundreds I think you should see...and see more than once. You have a nice list there, I think you should add: Delicatessen Sling Blade Nell Lawrence Of Arabia Ace in the Hole Sunset Boulevard Young Frankenstein Blazing Saddles 5th Element The Professional Unforgiven That's a good start.

If you like Sellers you should see him in Being There and for a real gut buster, The Party.

I don't know what's your preference on watching world movies. If speaking about movies most of us will go after Hollwood. Even we Indians can come down maximum up to the level of mentioning some Hindi films. Is this the effect of globalization? I can name many good regional films from India..But despite of my persistence none of my frieds have watched those.. I've heard that greats films are being made in France,Italy and Latin American countries. But since their scope is limited to festivals we hardly know much about them.So if you are from any other countries apart from US ,mention some great movies from your country too. It won't offend anyonyone. BTW,The greatest movies are coming out these days from a country called Iran.:omg: Now here is my list, This weekend I've again watched Bycicle Theives and Sound of Music.

                                        And Terminator 3 was well.

I'm amazed no one has mentioned any of the Godfather movies. You ought to watch all three once at least. so here goes: Godfather (I, II, III) Brave Heart Boon Dock Saints Clockwork Orange The Departed 2001 Space Odyssey Planet of the Apes (the original) Seven Samurai (Japanese Version)

It's Braveheart, not Brave Heart. Plus there are actually two (1[^], 2[^]) Braveheart movies ;-) Boon Dock Saints is definitely a good recommendation.
