MSDN redirect

This may not be relevant but I don't think it fits any other forum so: Is there a way to stop MSDN redirecting to a specific region. Let me elaborate, I am in Singapore but use the Australian en setting. When I connect to MSDN I get redirected to the en-au version. This site from SG is bloody slow and I wanted to try the US site, no such luck. I event attempted to do this on a new machine, it seems SG will get sent to AU without any recourse to using the US or any other MSDN site! OR is it that all MSDN sites are very slow because of the traffic?

I thought that if you sign in you can request a specific version? I should send you the email of the guy that made that lame decision, but he's probably moved on to become a VP by now.

you need to go thru a proxy with a us ip address ;)

Could you choose to set your language to en-us instead of en-au? All the Best Julian N.
