At this very moment, Master (a Russian heavymetal band) Right before that, Helloween's "Gambling with the devil" (from which i only liked one song, the rest, not so much. but then, thats just personal preference...) Currently in the playlist, set on shuffle: Master, Helloween, Metallica, Megadeth, Iron Maiden, Primal Fear, Aria (another Russian band), and Testament.

I love 'I want out' but other than that, I don't go much on Helloween. I thought the 'kepper III' was a bit try hard. Oh - I *love* Primal Fear, they are awesome. Did you like the new Megadeth ? 'Electric Crown' is my vote for best guitar solo of all time.

Neither do I. Their early stuff is good, "I want out" being one of my favorites. Then comes a long time of ..umm..weird stuff. They really are on my playlist now just because I was listening to 'gambling with the devil', and accidentally loaded all of their songs. meh.

What do you mean by new? After the split in 2004? It's certainly..different. I kinda like their earlier albums more, but they're still good. And yeah, I must agree, the guitar solo in "Electric Crown" is definitely awesome.

Over the last couple of days - Candlemass, Sabbat, ZZ Top, Kyuss, Sabbath, Fudge Tunnel, Clutch, Pitchshifter, Godflesh, Frank Black's latest (where he's actually credited as Black Francis), Prong (the classic Cleansing and their latest, Power of the Damager, which is *good*), Celtic Frost. I've been tending towards the heavy end of my music collection...

I liked the first Keeper of the Seven Keys, but haven't listened to anything since - my musical tastes sort of veered away from metal (towards industrial, if I remember correctly) just after that album came out.

At the moment some old Muse albums and since I played Bioshock, I've been trying to find some old 30s and 40s stuff :-O. Also waiting for the new Serj Tankian album to finally get to ole' South "Bottom-End-Of-The-World" Africa. Oh, and also waiting for the Emmigrate album too.

Excellent choice. I haven't listened to them in years, but I went through a big period of buying all of their albums. Looks like I'm going to have to hunt them out.
