Is this where we ask questions about CodeProject itself? I was in the middle of writing an article using the submission wizard. I'd uploaded a bunch of files and made a start on writing the article, and then IE got accidentally closed (oops). Is there any way I can get back to my article or do I have to start all over again? Anybody help? Dave

Unfortunately we don't do auto-saves on the server end while you are composing an article within the browser. The best thing to do is compose your article in a HTML editor and keep saved copies, then when you are done paste it into the submission wizard and tweak.

That's what I thought. Thanks for the quick response anyway. I think there is an HTML template that can be used for "offline prep" in place of the Wizard, isn't there? Probably a better way to go. I'm just finishing a big C# development (www.ionyoo.com, if I'm allowed a quick advert!) using all sorts of aspects of C# and .NET and I've got a load of tidbits that would make good CP articles, but I've never found the time to get stuck into the mechanics of producing them. If I can do one I'll probably do more. Anyway I'll try the template (tommorrow, it's supper time in Mud Island now). Cheers

All seems to have gone well (http://www.codeproject.com/useritems/ReparsePointID.asp[^] except that I mamaged to upload my screenshot JPG twice with different names, so one of them is now superfluous, and I couldn't work out how to get rid of it. Dave

I did my first article this way. I then wised up and used Notepad or Visual Studio to write each one thereafter, so that when I did start to use the Submission Wizard, it takes all of three minutes. And if my browser crashes or closes, no big deal.
