I got this lovely spam today:

Longest time my friend,hope all is well with you together with your family,sorry to hear this though i know you will understand that the fault is not mine. I know this mail may come to you as surprise since it has been long time ago we communicated last.I am the one that contacted you sometime ago regarding the transfering of a huge fund into your account which you did not accomplish with me due to financial misunderstanding.
Now i want to inform you about my success in getting those funds transferred under the co-operation of a new partner from South Korea.Presently I'm in South Korea for investment projects with my own share of the total sum . Meanwhile, I didn't forget your past efforts and attempts to assist me in transferring those funds despite that it failed us somehow.

After a face to face meeting with a seemingly nice man, 3 to 5 kickboxing masters will come out of the woodworks and roundhouse kick said idiot. They will do so until their gold watch, necklace, all the cash and credit cards go swirling around like the head and neck of said idiot. Said idiot will then wake up in a bathtub full of ice, and a little bit of water. They will notice they have been stripped of all bodily organs, and sold on the black-market. Maybe they can use the money they got from their South Korean friend. Oh wait... :laugh:

No it's not. It's another variation of the Nigerian, where they will not release the cheque without a "handling" fee to cover security costs. The BBC did a sting on some of these people a couple of years ago, and they weren't happy bunnies when they realised they were being exposed in return.
