Huh, well looking through it briefly it looks like it's a Java based SDK :( Boo hoo!

Ewww.....I'd rather deal with the java nonsense then. I've tried several times over the last few years to port non-trivial apps to mono and it's been more trouble than it's worth.

Not knocking symbian, but... Symbian apps/games = 5% of market J2me = 95% That's what I ment by java rules mobile
You sure about that? J2ME is a pretty limited system and on Nokia phones I see a lot of Symbian apps. And there are a lot of Nokia phones out there. From what mobile developer colleagues tell me J2ME is limited in how it can access features on the phone so anything that needs GPS, proper media control etc. uses Symbian. On the other hand Symbian is probably going to be replaced soon and the same colleagues are saying the Android system is a lot more powerful than J2ME. Pity Nokia aren't going to adopt it.
