I bet they did in on purpose. Of course what would have been more ironic, is if he was watching the show so that he could learn the mistakes the other mafia boss made, and therefore avoid arrest.

I think it would be awesome if his successor was arrested while watching a news clip of the old boss being arrested...

I lived in Italy for many yearrs as a child.... I remember watching the TV news one day with great excitement: they announced they were going LIVE to watch the police bust in to someone's flat (apartment) to arrest them (can't remember the exact details - I think it was some Red Faction "terrorist".) So we cut live to outside this flat.... a dozen big burly armed police, full gear, the lot... at a signal from Top Dog the biggest baddest one takes a step back and aims a hard kick at the door. Nothing happens. Oops. No splintering of wood, no crashing door-frame, no mad rush in with guns aimed high... He steps back and kicks again. Nothing. You can see it in their body language: "shit, we're on live TV - how embarrassing is this?" Third go. Backs right across the hall, runs - WHAM! Nothing. Oh dear. Now what? They ring the bell. A man answers. They arrest him.:laugh::laugh:
