A couple of days ago I received two Word documents from a customer. Who called them, oh irony, SRSes. Each document consisted of two or three pages (with mockups) and depicted one feature of an unknown system. He asked me to give him a price quote for the whole application (he didn't write what kind of application that would be, neither its goal). Last night I dreamed all customers began to send me documents like this. :~

Kind regards, Pawel Krakowiak Miraculum Software[^]

Oh the lovely picture spec, I fell for it once, never again. I simply reject ambiguous specs now, if the person was serious, he would make an effort.

I was considering telling him it would be $8000. Why $8000? I don't know, I made it up - after all I don't know what he wants. I am trying to educate that guy but he keeps giving me stuff like that.
