My Website?

Ok, this isn't a heartless plea for you to look at my web site, because it is far from done, I will be using it as part of my resume soon. I was playing around with the MS Agent, now that it is available to run within the web and I was wondering what everyone though of it being included as an introduction. I have a sample set up on my main page if you would like to see it. DeveloperNotes.com [New Window], again I am really just interested in whether or not you think the whole MS Agent is a neat idea for the web or is it just lame. Any feedback you have for the site would also be great. Is this just another integration feature that Microsoft has just overdone? What do you think? Nick Parker

Horrible! Tries to download and install some Active X (some speech thing)! Also has some Flash on it (thankfully which my filter removed). Is this a site for developers or is it a playground for new "technology"? -- See me: www.magerquark.de

Basically your site looks good. My personal opinion is get rid of the Agent. Its cute but you get sick of it quickely. Remember the other "Bob". It requires a second connection to the internet which is blocked by many firewalls (at least mine) so he does not show anyways. Keep the site attractive but simple and you have done that. I understand, I really didn't intend on keep Peedy the MS Agent, I just thought I would throw something up there and see how everyone else feels. However I do feel that flash is coming around, flash is not be any means an odd plugin to have registered within your system. Uwe Keim wrote: Was it to hard? Uwe Keim wrote: Is this a site for developers or is it a playground for new "technology"? Well, it will be for developers, and used as part of my resume. I only put the MS Agent up there to pose the question to everyone here as to how they felt about this new technology. I didn't have too high of a regard for it before I asked the question, I was only trying to feel everyone else out. Thanks. :) Nick Parker
