Woo hooo. Victory is mine. I won the bet. :-D We really need a victory dance smiley. Oh and thanks for making me an MVP. There are some amazing people on this list and it humbles me to be in their company. [Edit]My congratulations to all you amazing people on the list, and it really should be 600 people to cover all the really amazing people who post and help on these forums.[/Edit]

Congrats to all awardees, I'm glad to see I've not made the list. It lets me know how high the the standard of contribution from these guys really is, a genuine achievement and the list is obviously a useful reference of people to ping when I get really stuck. Thanks Chris. :)

:-O Gosh thanks. Although I think it means Most Vitriolic Person in my case. To be honest, it's enough for me that people know me well enough to just refer to me by my first name in the lounge and for people to know who they are on about. Congratulations to yourself on yet another deserved MVP.

Thanks a bunch. I have hurt my back at the gym and I am on bed rest since last Sunday. I would have to take rest till coming Monday. Vasudevan Deepak called me up to congratulate. That's how I knew the news. It is painful, I am unable to sit, but still this is the happiest moment in my life, ever. Thanks again. :) Special Thanks to VDK.

Thanks very much. Although, it's the thought of the drinks that Mel's going to have to buy me for correctly predicting Scott and Luc would be on the list that makes this sweeter.

No, I've only been a member for 7 months and contributed a couple of very boring articles. The standard should be higher and clearly it is. I'd like to contribute an article a month in 2008 making up a series on the C Runtime but I'm away the second half of January so I can't see it happening. I also need to brush up on loads of stuff I used to know about and have forgotten, the CP forums constantly remind me how much of the details of MFC, ATL/WTL and COM I have forgotten since they stopped being such a big part of my job in the last 5 years. It makes me appreciate the older forum members who not only keep up with the new tech but still remain experts on the old tech even more.:rose:
