Just saw the new TV show last night. It was actually pretty good. Some interesting plot twists, and no chick stuff. Very unlike the Bionic Woman fiasco.

I'm not sure about it yet. There have been some inconsistencies. For instance... At the end of the show when they landed in L.A., the little terminator said "now you're safe", followed by the sarah/john retort, "Nobody is safe" (or something like that). The preview for tonight's episode showed sarah angry at the little terminator because the little terminator said they were safe, when in all actuality, they weren't (as sarah stated at the end of last night's show). IMHO, sarah had no room to bitch. I also have an unreasonable problem with seeing terminators that don't look like Arnold. It's a real mental hurdle...

Go to your local elementary school, and find the kindergarden classroom.

And...? What are you suggesting? That: 1) He go find Arnold working there? 2) That's where real little Terminator is hiding incognito? 3) You can get a good deal on used desks?

I'd be ok if the terminators looked like USA presidential canidates.

They have nine shows in the can.

Personally, I thought the first show was in the can. Nine more like that and they'll have another Bionic Woman fiasco. The first show totally screwed up the movie timeline.

I agree. The mvies showed all the terminator to be built out of an assembly line. I would think that there would be no deviations, except for the upgrades. Also, the third movie shows Skynet coming into existence. So who builds the time-machines when humanity is dying?

The only flaw (a minor one) that I saw was that the adult terminator was so incompetent, although it was awesome the way he ripped open the bank vault. Maybe he was optimized for strength? Also cool: the superweapon, and being able to go forward in time. Hopefully future shows will uncover more safety deposit boxes with additional gizmos.

                Best wishes, Hans

It makes more sense if you think of the TV series as a Terminator Service Pack. :)

LOL - true, but I thought it was supposed to be about how she raised him by herself and died teaching him how to become a leader. This is just an alternate universe Terminator story with time-travel in day one. They're the Enterprise of the Star Trek world.

Skynet built the first one, and it was captured by humans. At least that's how I remember it from a book.

I hope the vault had a built in self destruct...otherwise someone will have access to a fully operational time machine, plasma rifle and more Terminator parts...

Well, we all know what happens when you start optimizing - features start to break and/or disappear.
