Having a child and not being married is kinda weird. But I feel this is a soapbox topic, isnt it?
IMHO, if you take off all the metaphysical things from the concept "marriage", the only thing you remain with is a contract between a man and a woman in which you accept some legal rights and obligations (i.e. sharing the couple's income, taking care of their children, etc). Thus for me it's not weird at all, since it means that you simply don't want to get those legal rights and obligations (although some are given de facto when children are involved).

Thanks leckey, we've know for quite a while. We had another scan at the hospital today and we could see the baby moving its arms and legs this time which was very cool.
Isn't it just :D Once we were doing the scan and it was just shades of rgey when suddenly the image snaps and there's the baby, sucking on his thumb without a care in the world :D Gorgeous moment I tell ya :D

Our twins didn't show until the third scan, they where born the next morning! Shock of my life. But it happened 20 years ago, hopefully the eqipment is better nowadays. Or not...? :) Congrats anyway. Hope all goes well.
