Chris "plug the 19" monitor in". i want to know the size of monitor that most of us use? and do you want a larger one in the near future? pursuing a larger monitor is for the reason of usefulness or other reasons? mine is 14". and i think it is enough for me. :)

Dual monitors 21" and 17" running is a resolution of 2560 * 1024 BTW, its dangerous to start a monitor size thread without Nish's approval! Roger Allen Sonork 100.10016 If I had a quote, it would be a very good one.

I recently bought a SGI 1600SW Flatpanel display -- 17.4" widescreen. Runs natively at 1600x1024. It actually rocks for a number of reasons, not only widescreen DVDs, but also means that I have to scroll very little when coding now!

mine is 17", but i would not mind 3 17" or 19" screens, i always end up with so many programs running at once.

A 17" Samsung SyncMaster 750s both at home and at work. It's cheap, robust and the image is just great! Prolly next one will be a 21", but not from IBM. My friend at work has one and the image is very foggy at 1680x1024... Concussus surgo. When struck I rise.

19-inch at home and at work. I'd like to get a 21-inch, but they're just too damn heavy. The *only* way I'd go larger is if it was LCD. ------- signature starts "...the staggering layers of obscenity in your statement make it a work of art on so many levels." - Jason Jystad, 10/26/2001 Please review the Legal Disclaimer in my bio. ------- signature ends

Since when does size matter. It's not the size of a monitor it's how you use it right? Perhaps you guys with huge monitors are merely compensating for short commings in other areas. ;P
