As a software developer I kind of feel like an outsider for not drinking any coffee. If I have the choice, I always prefer still mineral water, orange juice or anything else. I like the smell of coffee, but I don't like the taste :(

They may as well call it the "microscopic." :sigh:

whooohoo - i'm not alone. The beans smell really good and are tasty when covered in chocolate but if I were to imagine what little old ladies feet taste like, that's what a cup of coffee would be. X|

They've always had shorts. I don't drink Starbucks very often any more but when they first came to town I used to get a short mocha every morning while we were having our officeless staff meetings back in the day and I had a short mocha there about 3 months ago when our power went out. A buck though, that's new.

I've been buying short {insert beverage-of-the-day} for years from Starbucks .. so not exactly ground breaking news I would have thought??

I only go there for Frappuccino (invented by Frappuccine monks); no coffee is worth what they charge. P.S. If "Tall" is English, "Grande" is Spanish, and "Venti" is Italian, perhaps they should choose some other language for short -- German: "Kurz" perhaps or French: "Petit"... yeah, that's better.
