Dual Monitors In XP
-
I've been meaning to add a 15" monitor I have lying around to my existing 19" monitor on my system. Does anyone know if you can use different screen resolutions on each of the monitors? My main AGP card lets me do 32bit colour at 1600xsomething, but I don't think my 15" will do it. Also, is it worth doing?

Yes, it is possible. Sometimes i use also two different screen resolutions on my dual monitor system running WinXP - on my 17" monitor a resolution of 800x600 and on my 19" monitor a resolution of 1600x1200. Grtx, Berry

We've all got 19" monitors here (we're a design studio), and although other designers do, I can't stand 1600x1200 even with 19"! Maybe I should visit an optician.....

I've got a dual-head vid card and I borrowed a tiny monitor from a friend. The main monitor (19) is at 1600*1200 (it would be a higher res if I could) and the small monitor (14?) is at 1024*768. I have XP on my laptop, running at 1600x1200. Additionally, most of the time I have plugged in a 19" CRT at 1280x1024. I did not notice any issues with that configuration. Regards Thomas Sonork id: 100.10453 Thömmi
