In my experience, that page is usually right, I guess if it can't find the right URL, it ends up just showing the base page. So, it's an edge case that is not so helpful.

Really ? OK, well, I guess that's why it can't find anything else. You're going to a default 'can't find it' page. So, what it's telling you is correct, it's just that you'd hope that it would just accept it without the www.

Wasn't there a post in here a few days ago saying that because Google threw a fit over all the other codeproject domain names, that Chris was canceling them all in favor of just www.codeproject.com?

Please don't bother me... I'm hacking right now. Don't look at me like that - doesn't anybody remember what "hacking" really means? :sigh:

They've had to do that... something to do with Google (I think the rankings get penalised if you have multiple domains redirected to the same site, or something like that). So I think that's why only "www.codeproject.com" works now. cheers

If that's the case then something absurd is up with Google. It's the same domain afterall. Most sites default to www when no sub-domain is specified. Heck, even Google does that. I'm guessing it's just an oversite on Chris' part. Cheers, Drew.

I'm sure this is just an oversight; Chris probably forgot to hook up www as the default sub-domain. Cheers, Drew.

Hey Roswell, A few others had reported this bug[^] a few days ago. But Elina (Codeproject developer) said "I can do "codeproject.com" and I do get to this page", and so basically since it works for her, it cannot really be a bug. It's just an unreal manifestation of your hyper imaginative brain. Get some coffee and you'll be fine.
