Anyone know of a good IIS Log reader. I need to analyze my web traffic. Need User counts and page hits and the like.

Have a look at AWStats[^]. Perl script that gives plenty of detail from IIS log files.

WebLog Expert[^] - I asked the same question a while back and it was suggested. I've been happy since.

We went through this once before, but I don't like sites that throw a full page warning in my face upon visitation stating that since I'm not using Firefox, my browser is not compatible with their web site... especially after continuing and my browser appears to work perfectly fine anyway. It's arrogant and stupid. Also their software is based upon Perl. X| :barf: Possibly the most obtuse "language" (if you want to call it that) ever created.

I 'third' that. It's the best, saves required info in SQL Server, then use supplied SQL Reports and customize!

I agree with you, however in his (or her) defense, I also use IE so infrequently that I wouldn't really notice something like that either.

I use Google Analytics for that. Has lots of useful information if you can embed some JavaScript. Wes http://www.21concepts.com[^] (you will be tracked) My self promotion is my signature.
