Extract waveformdatas out of .ecg file

Hi guys, i have got a very big problem. I have to extract the waveform datas out of an .ecg file. I have the descripton of the fileformat and i have samle files, I also wrote a small program. I cout read the header and i can give it out on the screen. I mean i can give out the ascii values in the header. I tried it for several days ut i am not able to give out the waveform data, i really couln't manage it !!! ;((( I need the waveform datas to draw the curve of the ecg.
