My wife and I are expecting our first baby:-D We had our first ultrasound scan today (picture). The baby is 11 weeks 2 days old, only 44mm long and is due on January 25th 2003. I don't suppose anybody else cares, but I'm over the moon, so I thought I'd share it with everyone:-D Derek Lakin. I wish I was what I thought I was when I wished I was what I am. It's too soon to be able to tell the baby's gender from this scan (check out the picture). BUt we have another (nuchal translucency scan) in a week or two which may show it up. It's too soon to be able to tell the baby's gender from this scan (check out the picture). BUt we have another (nuchal translucency scan) in a week or two which may show it up. Yes, it is, but live, with the baby moving and the ultrasound showing it, you can clearly see your baby... It's a wonderful feeling... I have to admit that the picture we ended up with was nowhere near as clear as the 'live footage' that we had. We were able to see both arms and legs and we could clear see the baby's heart beating too :omg:, though you can't really get all those in one snapshot. Derek Lakin.
