It's a mammal classified in the bear family, Ursidae, native to central-western and southwestern China. Surprised you weren't completely au fait with that one, to be honest. :)

We're currently running and paying for Panda Internet Security 2008. Our contract is up in a few months and I'm wondering if I'm really protecting our computer the best I can running Panda. What are your thought's on Panda? What do you recommend we use instead? Thanks, in advance, for your input!

I'm leaning towards ESET NOD32. It consistently ranks among the top for detection as well as low resource use. Panda's bite. Cheers, Drew.

I switched to ESET NOD32 a few months ago, after having tried practically everything else over the years, and I'm happy with it. IMO, it's probably the best around.

Pandas are slothy and useless creatures. I'm betting it's just sitting there eating all of your resources.

I second that or third that or whatever that. NOD32 simply is the best.

We are using Kaspersky (Exchange-enabled Office Hyper Enterprise Panty Raider Whatever edition). I don't have much to compare to - mostly the complaints here about other antivirii - and I can *not* *not* recommend it (the double *not* is intended). It works ok, no real problems with system load, good reviews onf detection, etc.
