Did if fix the horrible move/copy/delete files/folder massive delay problem ? I like vista but the delay is very annoying sometimes.... regards,

I left it installing over night, after an hour of 'Windows is installing a service pack, please wait' and constant rebooting I got fed up and went home. I came in this morning expecting a huge mess but was actually really surprised, everything feels a little snappier now and yes the 5 minute pause before it starts copying/moving/deleteing anything does appear to be fixed *cross fingers*, It might be me but LAN access seems alot faster to me now aswell :~

Well I like Vista so didn't want to sound too negative by saying it annoys me ALL the time :-)

I've had a small problem throwing reports at the printer (using native Win32 command StartDoc etc...), vchost.exe seems to be crashing, I'm investigating, the reports worked ok prior to the service pack 1, it could be they've tighten something up and I may have to rework the code.:~

We have three computers at home. One desktop and my wife and I each have a notebook. They are all running Vista. The desktop was actually an upgrade. I had an issue for a while where half my processor was being eaten up with nothing running. Once I removed Daemon Tools, the problem went away. That's the only issue I've ever had with Vista. Well, that and the stupid red icon telling me my computer isn't secure because the user account control is turned off. Other than that Vista is really nice. Also, I'm rocking home basic and my computers are much faster than XP. I can't speak for the other versions though...
