I'm overjoyed, I was actually shaking when they wheeled him out. So much I couldn't carry the kid. I haven't stopped smiling since I saw them both and now that I know that both are absolutely fine thankfully :D It feels awesome being a daddy since a few hours :laugh:

However, remember that your wife hurts and won't now sleep for 3 or so months. Do WHATEVER she demands! You must obey like your life depends on it, because in so many ways it will .. :D

:nods: Aha, that goes without saying! Poor girl, she was in pain for so long and then when she couldn't take it anymore, she underwent the surgery. When I left her, got more or less kicked out of the hospital really, she was still woozy from the effects of the anesthetics and pretty much knocked out.

Ahhhh man ... nice one! I'm really looking forward to being a dad big time. But I feel that frayed feeling already! Bought an amazing buggy a little while ago, the Quinny Buzz ... woooo! its all gonna be so cool! :) My partner is close to being fed up with waddling around though. I think she can't wait to get it all done now!
