A flattened hypercube? :) (I'd just call it a hexagon.)

It's a hex grid.

No trick. Do you see the cube? One of the vertices is the exact center of the hexagon - visualize lines running from the center out to the six corners that are visible.

Hexamid? As in a Hexagonal Pyramid? I can't see it as "cube" in shape but I can easily see how it forms like a pyramid of sorts. And if memory serves, such structures are called Octahedrons(not too sure about the spelling) because of the fact that the structure has eight faces, or a Hexagonal Pyramid as such: Clickety[^] (yes in the image it pinnacles to a sharp point, but you can cut it off so that its hexagonal :) )

What the hell are you doing on the forum (and making sense). Quickly - catch up on your sleep. Right now.

That's not exactly what I see. Please take a look here: http://www.codeproject.com/script/Membership/Uploads/15759/color2.png[^] I have drawn lines on the image to indicate the cube edges.

It's a hexagon. If you look at a cube from the right perspective the outline is a hexagon too, so it could be a cube.

It is not a cube (it is not three dimensional) .. it is more like a hexagonal beehive
