Having recently enjoyed Hills Have Eyes, Devil's Rejects, Hostel, Wrong Turn 2, and House of a Thousand Corpses, can anyone recommend a nice disturbing, gory, and perverted movie for me to hire tonight?

I watched Dead Mans Shoes[^] earlier this week. Certainly disturbing and gory in places...but a very, very good film, nonetheless. Ah - just noticed the 'Horror' in your subject line - it's certainly not horror, but I'd recommend it anyway.

Today I'm actually looking for plain, disgusting 'torture porn' type stuff, but I'll be sure to note Dead Man's Shoes for later viewing.

Seen it, but I was very drunk and missed a lot, maybe a second viewing is in order. Captivity is also a candidate.

Why you and the people who have replied you want to be "disturbed" and terrified? For me that's totally a garbage. Try not to give negative inputs to your mind. These blood splashes, cutting nerves, slitting throats.. I dont know why people generally like to watch it. I stopped all these inputs when I was may be, 23. But all my mates are still stuck with that bloody SAW. lol. It is something you should watch, before you decide to quit gories. I turned all my attentions towards Action,Comedy,Romance,Adventure & Classic! Hehe for example few days back I saw "12 Angry men". Awesome movie.

While not as gross or cheesy, low budget, poor acting as they ones you mentioned, one that got messed with my mind when I was younger is the original The Hitcher: http://imdb.com/title/tt0091209/[^] The part that got me the most was the girl chained to the truck. Will not say more unless you have seen it...

Watched about half of Storm of the Century a couple of weeks ago, so need to see the rest. I thought it was pretty decent and kept me on the edge of my seat. But then again, I thought The Keep was pretty good too. Nothing will ever beat The Shining - ever.

I don't understand why anyone wouldn't want to be disturbed. Never being disturbed is like being on tranquillisers your whole life, living in side a safe little bubble of all things nice. I'm never going to 'quit gories' as you say, and anyway it's not the gore I like, it's what people will do to other people, sometimes without even breaking their skin. Break out man, try playing some records backwards or something...

No, I read that when I was about 8 years old, long before seeing the movie, and I remember having to go outside the house and sit safely in the sub to read it.
