Thanks. What do you mean by "Windows Workflow which is free(ish) and even has a designer for it"? What do I need to have in order to built my own Workflows? I'm sorry for these ?s. I'm not so experienced with all of this. Thanks,
Basically, you need a copy of Visual Studio 2005 (or 2008). The free(ish) refers to the fact that you have to have a copy of VS to design it in. However, the Workflow designer can be embedded in other applications so you could embed it in your app with not too much work.

What's is the Workflow designer? Do I need SharePoint for this? We do have VS 2005 I believe in house. Do you have any references (links, books maybe) that I can look into? Thank you.
