And this weekend... robot show!
-
Hello all, Tomorrow in the morning (5:00 X|) we are leaving to Madrid were an autonomous robotic showdown will take place... There are several categories and our team will participate in the speeder category. We hope to classify for the last round and then race against our opponents... Usually it seems that in this world people spend 2 or three months on making their robots and to program them in order to develop their algorithms... We have not been able to spend all this time but as we are experienced in the automation field we feel confident that we will arrive at the last phase... By now we are running at the same speed that the last year winner achieved. That's far better than what we expected at the beginning. It is very nice to see how a little thing that has only a few sensors and two wheels can run following one line at 1,5m/sec... Our future objective is to reach the 2,5m/sec... let's see if we can get it for our next showdown... Good luck to our team! PS: The best part of everything is that we will spend part of the weekend diving into the hotel enormous jacuzzi... Of course the second good thing is that we will go out in the evening and that we will go to visit Madrid in the afternoon of the second day...

Did you design your own servo amplifiers or purchase them? DR
