Well done. perhaps there is hope for you yet :) Unfortunately, I don't know enough about Vista to help, but I'm sure someone does. Good luck.

Think about why that is. People who help others on code project don't get paid for it, they do it because they are lovely kind people who want to spread the joy. Sometimes those lovely kind people need to take a break from programming and just chill out for a bit. When these lovely kind people need to chill out, they come to the lounge. Of course you get a fast response here, because there are lots of lovely kind people chilling out. In the other forums these lovely kind people are working hard to understand your problems, and come up with a solution. This takes time, and sometimes the lovely kind people may not always know the answer, so you have to wait for a particular lovely kind expert to spot your question and come up with an answer. Give it time. If your question was well written, and provided enough information, a lovely kind person will help you for free because they are lovely and kind. If you haven't received a response in a few days, maybe the question was badly written and the lovely kind people didn't understand, or maybe the lovely kind people just don't know. If on the other hand, you need a answer fast, you should consider looking in other places. Microsoft offer a tech support service which you can pay for. (You may even get a small amount for free depending where you brought your copy of Vista from). Or, you can always do the research yourself with google[^] (I know I've gone on a bit about the people being both lovely and kind, but I think that's important because they really are very very lovely and very very kind - most of the time ;) )

So in the good-fast-cheap[^] triangle, you have chosen fast. Well then, if fast is what you want, here it is. 1) Unplug computer from wall. 2) Remove case and locate hard disk. 3) Bash head against hard disk until image fades. 4) Once conciousness is restored replace case and turn computer back on. Problem solved. There you go. One fast answer. That will cost you 1 meeellion English pounds please.

Without doubt. Did you send him the code to his email address, which you should have mentioned in the post?
