They will be the glazed flavoured ones. Caramel, strawberry etc I wasthinking some orange juice to wash it down and cut the sugar a bit

The tart/sour will contrast with the sugar and will slow down your eating. Drink something neutral like water. Marc

Sometime at the pub last week I agreed to be in an office eating contest. There are only two of us, the challenge is to eat 12 crispy cream doughnuts within five mins. First to finish wins and its a $10 spectator fee for the rest of the office. Prize money should be $300+. Any advice for a first time competitive eater? My only plan so far is to attempt to make him laugh as much as possible & break wind at every opportunity

Who has to pay for the doughnuts?

Coffee. Lots of hot, black coffee. Dunk, eat, enjoy the sugar+caffeine rush, sleep...

Sounds like a good idea. Our workmates overseas have requested we video the event so it might turn up on you tube at some stage

An amazing number of people choke to death in competitive eating contests, my advice is don't choke to death. :)

Well i would suggest that if it looks like you are going to lose, slow down and just enjoy your doughnuts while he is getting sick and probably not enjoying them at all.. But if your winning.... Finish him

He's a pretty cool guy, we have a frendly competitive thing going with the pool table and table tennis in the office. He also has a habbit of giggling like a little girl. My secret plan is to make him laugh so much that he cant eat.

ouch... I would think that would increase it! that is way too much sugar for me, but then I always did the diet coke thing at those events and you should use water.

they are krispy kremes though, they say if you eat them quietly, you can hear the crackling noise of your arteries hardening...

Have lots of water to dip them and wring them in. It compresses them down and they take up less room. despite the temptation, don't use milk. Ever try drinking a gallon of milk in an hour? It will make you sick. Soaked before stuffing, they should slide down without really chewing. You WILL get sick later, but $300 pays for a lot of porcelain prayer time. Draugnar

Orange juice has over 30 grams of sugar per 8 ounce serving. Use water and dunk, a lot!

They would probably kill my dad since he is a diabetic. You will probably just get sick.
