Needs caseless SATA drives hanging off edge of desk with SATA/USB adaptor cables hanging off USB port... then it will be authentic.

Wow, I should send a picture of what's under mine. I think it's even worse than that :~

My wiring doesn't touch any part of my floor in the room. Everything runs on the roof of my room so it's as much a mess but 1) you don't see it because we tend to look straight or down 2) it's not annoying when you want to clean your floor.

Two boxes of books (SQL Server 7.0 anyone?), the motor from one of those radio controlled blimps that I won at a TechEd, 27 football programmes, a copy of Aldous Huxley's 'Brave New World' and a broken mug. They are all nicely boxed up because we've had the carpet cleaned ahead of the potential visit of Director from Big Office. The office manager had been told to swap the stained carpet tiles for some of the unused ones under desks - only to actually find what was under the desks.

I have 4(!) UPSes under my desk, and enough stuff plugged into them that prior to buying #3 I had a powerstrip plugged into one for wall wart abatement. Current setup is PC1-1300 VA, PC2-550VA, monitor + USB hub-725VA, modem+router-550VA. With printers and other random crap that only needs surge stuffed into plugs as available.

You know, every time I tried to win a bar-bet about being able to count to 1000 using my fingers I always get punched out when I reach 4.... -- El Corazon

Well, I can't go into details, but it is inflatable. :omg:

you should really be careful about putting 4000 diskettes, a powered but unused bubble jet and many cords... you risk opening a door to hell. Do I need to call Constantine for you?

Mine is pretty easy... +Trash Can +Workstation + USB Backup Drive +Two of those heating fans (my cubicle gets really cold) +Powersquid (for the aforementioned fire hazards) +Surge Protector/Filter for the laptop and its brand new monitor +Network and phone cables +Several fully loaded boxes as I refuse to believe them when management says they won't move me in the near future +Oh and my previous workstation (P4 2.4) that IT refuses to take away Pretty standard stuff right? None of those pictures really frightened me... does that say something bad about me?

currently, the most nasty thing under my desk is one soiled sock and one soiled shoe...from spilling my coffee on my drive into work. X|
