Has anyone who is using XP service pack 3 had any issues with the remote desktop connection "Expiring"? I went to connect to another computer yesterday only to be faced with an ugly message saying i needed to run windows update before i could use remote desktop again. The only thing is, my laptop is fully up to date :s

Yep. happened to me just today. Uninstalled SP3, downloaded the latest SP2 security updates and all is well. To be honest, the SP3 uninstall was really painless (for a change) :-D . Brad

I'm running XP SP3 RC2 w/o any issues at all. Far, far faster than my Vista install ever was.

I did yesterday, and I installed the XP SP3 RC2 Refresh[^]. That took care of it for me.

I think they're talking about the release candidates or the betas, because just like you I thought it was being released this summer.
