Has anyone who is using XP service pack 3 had any issues with the remote desktop connection "Expiring"? I went to connect to another computer yesterday only to be faced with an ugly message saying i needed to run windows update before i could use remote desktop again. The only thing is, my laptop is fully up to date :s

Yep. happened to me just today. Uninstalled SP3, downloaded the latest SP2 security updates and all is well. To be honest, the SP3 uninstall was really painless (for a change) :-D . Brad

I just coppied MSTSC.exe and its dll of a SP2 machine... seems to work (for now)

I'm running XP SP3 RC2 w/o any issues at all. Far, far faster than my Vista install ever was.

I think they're talking about the release candidates or the betas, because just like you I thought it was being released this summer.
