Power plan on vista keeps changing back to default.

I did a search on google, looks like others are experiencing the same problem. No known solution found so far. I have it set to never go to sleep either plugged-in or on battery, but keeps changing back to its default each time I unplug the power or plug it back. Do you guys also experience the same problem?

I'm getting a similar behavior on my SP1 laptop. Well, not really similar, just related. Anyway, if I power on the PC and don't logon within a couple of minutes, it hibernates, even with AC power. I checked the power profile and with AC power plugged in the PC should never go to sleep, nor hibernate. :|
