Satellites pin blame for undersea cable cuts on cargo ships
-
My apologies to the conspiracy theory lovers out there, but it turns out those under sea Internet cables were 'cut' by cargo ships; intentional or not, they were both busted. Satellites pin blame for undersea cable cuts on cargo ships[^] Having said that, I'm sure that Aliens or CIA spooks made them do it ...

Oh, I have no doubt that the CIA was involved. They probably owned the ships under some covert series of holding companies. Of course, they had no intention of cutting the cables. It's just that they're as inept as any other governmental organization. :)

Most likely they intended to tap the lines, and failed miserably at it. Although I had believed you couldn't tap fiber optic cable, certainly they wouldn't tell us if they had thought they found a way.

It's all part of the CIA's hazing program: New recruits have to disrupt the infrastructure of another country, throw blame on various corporate agencies, get it printed/reported through national/international news channels and all within 24-hour time period; while drunk.

Bad Astronomy |VCF|wxWidgets|WTL:laugh: I thought the getting drunk part came afterwards, but other than that it's quite plausible. :-D

so you are saying 40 years of cow mutilations and human abductions were entirely designed to allow Britney Spears to mate with a human? Now who is stretching logic to its limits? Don't blame us them (those ugly inhuman aliens) for the human races own failings. I mean, if an alien, hypothetically speaking, wanted to stay on Earth even if they "looked" human or could be somehow "made" to look human, they would still be incapable of reproducing. They would probably pick some career that allowed any alien inexperience with human nature to be explained as timidness and geeky eccentricities... say computer science. They would probably be married several times, never producing offspring, having difficulty learning Earthen customs. Each time the marriage would last longer as they learned more about Earth customs... still producing no offspring. They might "claim" to be "fixed" in order to explain their inability to reproduce, since the completely different DNA would be incapable of mixing. They might even start in a career like accounting, math or statistics, comfortable in the universal constant of numerical relationships, then move on to military to learn all they could about the earth's defenses. They would hang out in some geeky online establishment where no one could see them, and reassure everyone how human they were, while still learning all the social graces and earth customs. Now does that sound like Britney Spears?;P

The CIA submarines trailed underneath the ships in question, cutting cables along the way. Of course, from a satellite perspective, you can only account for the cuts that occur where the ships crossed the path of the cables. The subs however, account for all the cuts, we just inadvertently blamed the ships. Makes perfect sense. But is was really a test to see how fast the cables could be repaired and what resources were brought to bear. I mean, if they really wanted it torn up, the cable would have been removed altogether, and that would have been rally interesting to explain!
