You posted your question and nobody answered you immediately. A few minutes later you post in the Lounge a follow-up. This CP site is not a paid Q&A site, consequently, the fine members who take the trouble to answer questions do so out of the goodness of their hearts. There is no compulsion on their part to answer you or anybody. Anyhow, even in paid sites, you must give the site more than a few minutes (if not hours) to answer you. Many members of CP have attended many fine educational establishments around the globe and we know how mundane and difficult homework can be. The objective of homework is to re-enforce what you learnt at a tutorial. The members at CP, as well as your tutors, would have expected you to have done this homework all by yourself. If you run into trouble with your homework, demonstrate in your posting what you have managed to accomplish and where/what the problem is. By demonstrating that you have attempted the problem, CP members will be more happy to help guide you in the correct direction to solve your problem.

Yes. Homework needs to have some kind of challenge or it is worthless. That is why I require my students to write a 3-4 sentence blurb about what they learned in the lab assignments. Most give me a pretty good indicator of the progress they've made.

Funny this should happen here today: I wanted to ask a question on a botanical and gardening site this morning about my suffering indoor mango plant but there were a lot of potential forums I could post it in, so I asked a guy privately on the site that specializes in tropical indoor gardening and posts in a lot of the forums and he suggested I post it in a certain forum then post in the other forums messages with a link to that forum like this guy just did here! Gardening sites don't have quite the same hair trigger for forum etiquette stuff as we do here. :) (needless to say I didn't, I picked the best bet and stuck with it which worked out well for my poor mango tree)

If the forums allow it, i see no problem in it... but when it says no programming questions, i think people have a right to get annoyed when people are posting either direct or linked questions

How can i answer question myself when i don't know it. When google is not helping me out etc etc. I got to ask some one to clear my problem. So why not the great developers here at CP. Which university did you passed out. You used to get such a simple homework..lol.. Homework are meant to be very tough. It is just for my knowledge and as i am preparing for the exam. You are very ignorant, i must say. But if it is tooo easy for you then why don't you just tell me rather than wasting your so much energy in writing off subject. Thanks Gentleman. :)

Now, if you really were anglo saxon (as you claim), then you would know that women is plural. Tell you what, tell us which part of Ireland you're from. I'm interested - and I'll start it off for you, my family is from Clady Beg. Now if you're Irish, you'll know where that is - tell me the county.

well i am not bothered. I can't be friends with some one who can't talk to others nicely and politely. If you like her so much then go n lick her arse.. I just said what i think of her as she seems to be a bitch kind of person and that is why noone wants to keep her in thr company and they kick her out. She should improve, even you know that. Here's the deal--I have won hearts because I have earned the respect of other members over time. Just a suggestion... and i assure you that this is in your best interest... Log off... create a new account, and try to start fresh... that means no posting programming questions or links to programming questions in the lounge.. no abusing people who are respected around here... no acting like your better then the rest of us If you do the above, I assure you that you will get a much better reception and people will be far more willing to help you.

It's easy for you not for a beginner. You should not be so mean. If you can answer then reply else who want to hear all that crap which is off topic anyway. Well if i post programming question in launge then just don't reply to it. Who asked you to reply back. I am not forcing you..m i ? It's very simple. See my exams are on my way now.. so its my request do not go off topic. As i waste lot of time discussing shit with you all which i should nt care about. So if you just looking for a time pass thing then go to any chat room where you can get 100's of time wasters. Ill be respectful again and ill start fresh. This moreso I am not sure what you think that the lounge is, but i assure you that it isnt like a regular programming forum/chatroom. The guys here at CP were good enough to provide forums for most categories, and a lounge to get away from it all. Im sure that if you stop using profanities, and stop abusing people, you will realise that there are many nice people here (im not saying im one of them, but the others are) and you never know, you may just make a friend (who isnt imaginary or invisible)! oh and whats with thanking us for our cooperation just after you went on and on about us not cooperating?? :laugh:
