Don't worry about it Leckey. Julia4u is a peculiar little troll who claims to be of French/Irish nationality, but is so obviously an Indian. I thought I saw her name on a loaf of bread the other day, but it actually said Thick Cut.

Finally, someone besides me decides to show his staff... +5 man-points for Hans.

John - that's just a little bit.... well gay. It's -10 points for American Pie innuendo there.

You've been here less than a year so you don't understand my humor. If I'm flaming someone you will know it.

It was word play on "he's staff" (and because Hans is staff, too). I've never seen American Pie, so it's impossible to associate what I said with that film.

Confession time - neither have I. The first thing that came to mind (being English) was Carry On, but I don't know how those films have travelled outside the UK. Let's just say - if you've seen them, it's impossible not to hear Kenneth Williams now saying Ooh Matron in a snooty voice.

It's one thing about making fun of someone when they are asking a question. I find the situation of someone trying to insult another in an English forum and botching the job funny. I bet Saturday Night Live could make a skit of it.

lol. I remember that thread. "I will introduce myself. I am Julia" - okay, hoping to garner help being female (sorry, don't mean to sound sexist) "I'm irish + french" - trying to be neutral, somehow "I have a doubt" - obviously Indian, which negates the female and irish thing http://www.codeproject.com/Lounge.aspx?msg=2448094#xx2448094xx[^] This solidifies it: http://www.codeproject.com/Lounge.aspx?msg=2512363#xx2512363xx[^]

I didn't vote, but here is my take on the subject. When someone climbs on the pillory, they post something themselves, I don't mind taking a flog, and I know others enjoy the same thing, maybe a good flogging will teach them.... But, I am not a big fan of dragging them BACK to the pillory for extra flogging. Now if someone climbs on the pillory in the programming forum and someone posts a :wtf: link here, I don't mind, that's just calling in the floggers.... but I have a problem with calling it up in the same forum. Deal with it in the thread, if it has scrolled off the front page, so be it, you can keep it going as long as someone is participating.... but starting a new thread to rehash, or call in more floggers simply because the thread is no longer front page and center ring? naw. but that is only my opinion, in the for what it is worth department. Dragging someone back up for flogging I have done, and I regret it. I simply try to act a bit more decent... and when they hand me the cat-o-nine-tails and step on the pillory, sure, I'll give it a go! There is no end to volunteers it seems.

I think he is Kyle. Knowing that the general sentiment in CP is Anti-Indian, some people post as if there are Indian. Besides Indians are too busy posting URGENT messages in the technical discussions and they don't have any time to waste in flames or in general trolling.

I think he is Kyle. Knowing that the general sentiment in CP is Anti-Indian, some people post as if there are Indian. Even Kyle has more style. It just doesn't scan right for Kyle - mind you, it could well be a Kyle wannabe.

Don't worry about it Leckey. Julia4u is a peculiar little troll who claims to be of French/Irish nationality, but is so obviously an Indian. I thought I saw her name on a loaf of bread the other day, but it actually said Thick Cut.

One "unscientific" way to tell if Julia4u is Indian or Irish is to take what "she" says and say it to yourself with either an Indian or an Irish accent. Somehow, I can't imagine an Irish person saying: "You look like a Philipian[sic] to me.." ...but it sure makes sense when you hear it with an Indian accent! :) It's nothing against Indians, of course. Like any other demographic, they have their fair share of highly intelligent people, and obviously, she isn't the brightest of the bunch.

                                        Do you know...LinFu?
