ASP.NET Download concept in my Web page

:confused:hello, Iam working wit one webpage there is a option for download the files. I have no idea how to provide download option in my web page. Can any one help me ? looking fr yor responce its urgent....

Hi all, I am also facing the same requirement, but this is an Intranet application and when the user logs in for the first time a software has to be downloaded and it has to be installed. Can any one help in this regard?

I think u can just give a link to the file which u want to be downloaded, which will popup a window to download the file.
