You remember last year when the Soapbox looked a mess when almost everyone of Illion's posts were marked as abuse, almost before a minute had past from his posting ? I can just see that happening again to Julia4u's postings (she/he/it has made another in the Lounge a few mins ago). Can't imagine Maunder putting up with that in the Lounge.

I'm thinking that Chris isn't doing this, it's Adam Smith acting as a loose cannon - with two, almost identically irritating threads, both started by the same person divided between the lounge and SB.

Usually true, but in this case there was a strong demand that all of Dan's "julia4u" posts be moved so that the lounge-livers could properly express their feeling about his number of known parents, probably destination upon demis,e and the closeness of his relationship with his mother. Adam seems to have compromised by moving one post but not both. Nothing like consistency of rules enforcement to make everyone feel like they know what's going on, eh?

I used to think ethanol was a good thing. The only thing I like about it now is that it is cheaper than regular gas. We have lots of plants for processing going up, but I've now seen the effects of using all the corn for gas. The farmers will get paid regardless; it's just they are getting paid more now because of the subsidies.

I used to think ethanol was a good thing. The only thing I like about it now is that it is cheaper than regular gas. We have lots of plants for processing going up, but I've now seen the effects of using all the corn for gas. The farmers will get paid regardless; it's just they are getting paid more now because of the subsidies.

Wind energy is becoming more popular here; South Dakota is one of the most windy states. I'm on the list for getting a Chevy Volt when it becomes available; all electric and can go up to 40 miles without a charge. The more people who sign up, the quicker it will go to production.

Adam hasn't moved anything. I've been going through trying to keep up with some of the drivel that has been posted but have obviously missed some. There's an Abuse button that I encourage everyone to use if a post is inappropriate.

I would have been in favor of him moving everything, especially his own anti-catholic post. I did find the administration inconsistent since some julie4u threads were moved and others left untouched. Whoever did move the posts here to SB acted properly in my opinion. I did object to the idea that he could post something entitled "pope == pimp" in the Lounge because he was staff, and I object quite a bit to being threatened physically by him.
