    That is one thing I would love to suffer from. Unfortunately that particular disease is very difficult to catch. I even tried standing next to Bill G hoping that it was contagious. I was wrong :(( BTW, I'm not married yet (I do have the next best thing: a steady gf) so maybe that's why I can afford the stuff but as me and my gf were thinking of buying a house & getting married, Im gonna have to start cutting down on my needs... :cough: excesses. bibamus, edamus, cras moriemur

      My job is programming. I like computers and techy stuff. In fact one could say i'm something of a geek and I like to think I'm a practical and reasonable man. But i just went out and splashed around $750 on a pure techy toy: mobile phone (Nokia 7650) :omg: Why did i do this? If i waited another coupla months I could have bought the thing at half the price!! Ok so the toy... I meant the phone is cool: you could download code onto it and it's permanently connected to the net (using GPRS) but... Has any of u done such things in the name of Science :cough:? bibamus, edamus, cras moriemur

        Don't worry, I got married last year, and I was still able to scrape enough money together for an SGI Octane workstation. It's when the little Azzopardis come along that the Geek toy fund is emptied. if(E_NOINTERFACE == pThat->QueryInterface(IID_IUnknown,(void**)&pUnk)) { // I aint no pUnk bitch! }

                  Every one is making comments about being out of money now that they are married. I was just curious what you are spending your money on now? Do your wives work? I can totally understand the added costs of kids, but I don't see how being married (with out children) would cost much more than a steady girlfriend. Do your wives just expect you to spend your money on more "practical" things, like new furniture, house payments and such?

                    As I read over most post, I noticed that it sounded like I was talking to one person and suggesting they had multiple wives. I was actually addressing "you" to everyone who made the comment about being married and not affording things. I really wish the english language had a plural "you".

                                      Dear Paul, So, essentially, your GPS is interfering with your ability to establish a PPP connection to the desired technical device. My advice would be to accept the tradeoff, as it's much easier to find your way with a good GPS than it is via random connections.
